The HDMI port on the xbox is out only. No inbound signal permitted. If you want to use the xbox as a passthrough to show the Mac activity on a Tv, that will not transpire due to the fact the xbox HDMI does not let inbound.
The video connections on a MacBookPro are out only. No inbound signal allowed. If you want to connect the xbox to the Mac with HDMI so the Mac can display the game play or to record your game play, that will not occur. The video ports on the Mac are not in-bound.
